Before you start Use an email address you can open now. It is used for account confirmation and access to your workspace. Socialjuice separates your account from your spaces: one account can manage different brands, products, or clients.  Create and confirm your account Open the Socialjuice sign-up page using the dashboard link below. Enter the details requested on the form and choose a strong password. Submit the form. If email confirmation is requested, open the message in the same browser and follow its confirmation link. Sign in and open Spaces. Create a new space, or open an existing space if you have already been invited to one.  If you cannot sign in Check your spam folder and confirm that you entered the right address. Use the password-reset option on the login page if you have forgotten your password. If a confirmation link has expired, request another confirmation rather than repeatedly using the old link. An invitation does not give you ownership of the space. The owner controls the access you have. Contact support if confirmation or access still fails; never send your password.

Create your Socialjuice account

Choose what belongs in a space A space is a separate collection of testimonials with its own public pages, forms, widgets, branding, and settings. Use separate spaces when brands or clients need different review libraries. Use labels when you only need to group testimonials within the same brand.  Create your space Open Spaces from the Socialjuice logo or the workspace switcher at the bottom of the dashboard sidebar. Choose New space. Enter the requested space details and choose an available public slug. Check spelling before saving: this slug identifies your public page. Open the new space and visit Workspace settings to check its name and branding. Then open Collection forms to preview the page customers will see.  Switch spaces and check access Use the workspace switcher to return to Spaces, then open the space you need. Before editing a form, importing reviews, or copying a widget, confirm you are in the correct space. The number of spaces and team access depend on the owner’s plan. If creation is unavailable, review your account limits. A team member may be able to view a space without being allowed to create or delete it.

Create and switch between spaces

Choose the right collection tool Collection forms contains your testimonial form, Review Gate, and Socialjuice AI widget. Use the testimonial form to ask customers for video or written feedback. The AI widget collects feedback through a conversation on your website. Review Gate starts by asking for a rating and can send customers to external review destinations.  Prepare and share your form Open Collection forms in the sidebar. Find Testimonial form and choose its edit link. Check the introduction, questions, requested customer information, and thank-you message. Save changes and use Preview to see the customer experience. Return to Collection forms and choose Copy form link. Send this link in your own customer email or message, add it to your website, or display the form’s QR code. Ask for an honest account of the customer’s experience. Give a short prompt, such as what changed after using your product, and explain where their testimonial may be used.  Review each response Open All testimonials in the correct space. Read the text or watch the video, check the author information and consent, and decide whether to make it public. New responses are not automatically a recommendation to publish. A public testimonial can be shared and used by eligible widgets. If a response is not appearing, check its public status, archived status, and the widget’s filters.

Collect your first video or written testimonial

Open the right form Open Collection forms and choose Edit testimonial form. Review Gate and the AI widget have their own editing links. Editing the wrong form will not change the customer page you meant to update.  Build the customer experience Open General to review the form settings and available collection options. Use Your Brand where available to choose your logo, brand colors, background, and appearance. Use an image that keeps the text readable on both a phone and a desktop. Open the testimonial-page settings to write a clear invitation and helpful prompts. Explain what you would like the customer to talk about without scripting their opinion. Review the personal-information settings. Only request information you need and check which fields are required. Use custom fields if your plan includes them. Update the thank-you page and any destination button. Save each section you change, then open the live preview.  Check before you share Read the page from a customer’s perspective on a narrow phone screen. Check logo cropping, contrast, button labels, line breaks, required fields, and your final destination link. A dashboard preview is useful, but also open the actual public URL. If changes seem missing, check that you saved the correct section, opened the correct space and form, and are not viewing an old browser tab. 

Update your brand, questions, personal-information fields, and thank-you page.

Customize your testimonial collection form

Two separate language choices The language selector in your account changes the Socialjuice dashboard interface. Your collection form has its own customer-facing language and editable copy. Changing your dashboard language does not translate text you wrote for customers.  Set and review the customer language Open Collection forms, choose the form you want to edit, and open its General settings. Select the available form language and review any default copy the dashboard applies. Read every section before saving, especially if you previously customized it. Check the invitation, recording and text screens, personal-information fields, consent text, and thank-you page. Save your changes. Open the public form URL on desktop and mobile. Check that both built-in interface labels and your own copy use the intended language.  When you need more than one language Share a form whose copy matches the customer’s language. Do not assume the browser translates your custom questions. If you need separate branded experiences or languages that the available controls cannot express, ask support about the best setup before duplicating a large review library.

Set the language of your collection form

Get the form embed Open Collection forms in the correct space. Find the testimonial form or Review Gate you want to use. Choose Embed form in my website. Copy the complete snippet supplied by the dashboard. Keep its URL, attributes, and camera and microphone permissions. Add the snippet to a custom HTML or embed block on your website. Save and preview the actual rendered page. Use the platform guides if you need help locating the right block.  Make recording work Use HTTPS for both your website and the form. The browser asks the customer to grant camera and microphone access when needed. Restrictions on your website, an enclosing iframe, or a browser permission can block recording even when the form itself loads. Always offer a normal link that opens the form in a new tab. This gives customers a fallback when their browser blocks recording inside an embed.  Test the container Check width and height on mobile and desktop. Some site builders place your HTML inside another iframe, so changing the inner form height may not change the outer block. Increase the site-builder block height if the final button is cropped. Do not use a code block that merely displays HTML as text. If your site plan strips iframe tags or disallows custom code, use a shareable form link or ask the platform administrator for help. 

Let customers leave feedback without opening a separate page.

Embed a collection form on your website

Choose and open the QR code Open Collection forms in the correct space. Choose the QR-code action for Testimonial form or Review Gate. These are different destinations, so check the form name before downloading or sharing. Use the download or sharing options shown in the QR dialog. Keep sufficient white space around the code and avoid stretching it. Scan the final version from a second device. Confirm it opens your intended public form and that the form works without a dashboard login.  Before printing Test at the actual printed size, viewing distance, and lighting. A code that works on your monitor can fail when printed too small or placed on reflective material. Include a short written explanation so customers know what will open. Treat the destination as part of your printed material. Changing a space slug or removing its custom domain may break previously printed links. Test existing codes after changing public URLs. 

Give customers a quick route from printed material or an in-person visit to your form.

Share your form with a QR code

Understand the flow Review Gate first asks for a star rating. Depending on your configured rules, the customer can continue to your testimonial form or an external review destination. It is a separate public form from the standard testimonial form. External review platforms set their own rules for soliciting feedback. Check the rules of each destination and ask customers for honest reviews. Do not promise that every destination permits filtering review invitations by rating.  Configure and preview Open Review Gate in the sidebar, or use its edit link under Collection forms. Review General settings, the rating threshold, enabled destinations, and each destination URL. Use the actual public review link for your business. Customize the text and branding. Review the behavior for ratings on both sides of your chosen threshold. Save and preview the public Review Gate. Follow each branch and verify that the destination belongs to the correct business. Return to Collection forms to copy its link, open its QR code, or embed the form on your website.  If a destination does not open Check that you saved a complete HTTPS URL and enabled the destination. A customer’s browser or the external platform may require sign-in before they can post. Socialjuice cannot publish a review on that platform on the customer’s behalf.

Set up your Review Gate

What the widget does The Socialjuice AI widget asks visitors about their experience and helps turn their answers into a testimonial. The customer reviews and approves the resulting text before it is sent to your testimonial library. This is a collection tool; Website widgets display testimonials you already collected.  Configure and install Open Collection forms and find Socialjuice AI widget. Choose its edit link. Review the available General, branding, and behavior settings. Set the introduction and prompts so the visitor understands what they are being asked to share. Save your settings and use the demo or preview to check the conversation. Confirm that the widget is enabled when you are ready for visitors. Return to Collection forms and choose Copy installation code. Add the exact code through your website’s supported custom-code mechanism. Preview the actual website, open the bubble, and check its position on mobile. Avoid covering important navigation, cookie controls, or checkout actions.  If the bubble is missing Confirm the widget is enabled, the complete installation code is present on the intended page, and your site allows JavaScript. Check whether a consent manager or blocker is preventing the script from loading. Do not paste the script into a text block or an isolated iframe if it needs to create a bubble on the host page.

Install the Socialjuice AI collection widget

Review before publishing Open All testimonials in the correct space. Read the full response or play the video, check the customer’s details and consent, and decide whether it is appropriate to share. Public visibility is separate from labels and favorites.  Change visibility Select the testimonial to open its detail view. Find the Public switch and turn it on to make the testimonial available publicly. Wait for the change to save. Open the public link or the intended widget and confirm the testimonial appears. If the widget uses labels or a custom selection, include it in those filters too. To remove it from public display, turn Public off and check the public page again. Existing downloads or copies you published elsewhere are separate files.  If it does not appear Check the correct space, public status, archive state, and widget filters. A widget that only shows a selected label will not show every public testimonial. Reload the actual public page after saving. Keep private feedback private unless you have permission to publish it. A public switch does not replace customer consent.

Make a testimonial public or private

Download the file Open All testimonials and select a video testimonial. A written testimonial has no video file to download. Wait for the video to finish processing if it was only just submitted. Open the download actions in the detail view. Choose Video MP4 to save the video, or Thumbnail to save the available thumbnail. Allow the browser download if prompted. Open the downloaded file and check that it is complete before using it in another editor or social platform.  If downloading is unavailable Video downloading depends on the account’s available features and your access to the space. If you see a locked feature, review the owner’s plan. If a video is still processing, wait and reload its details. If the browser opens the file instead of saving it, use its download or Save video option. For failed downloads, try again without an extension blocking the media request and send support the testimonial identifier if the problem persists. Never send an access token.  Before reusing the video Check the customer’s consent and the intended use. Downloading a file does not expand your permission to edit or publish it. If you later make the testimonial private in Socialjuice, copies uploaded to other services must be managed separately.

Share a public link Open All testimonials and choose the response you want to share. Review its content and consent, then enable Public if it is not already public. Use Copy link in the testimonial details. Paste the link into your own message or social post. Open the link in a private browser window before posting. Confirm the right testimonial appears without a dashboard login.  Share an image or video instead Use Social designer to create a branded testimonial image. For a video post, download the Video MP4 if your account includes downloads, then upload it through the social platform’s own composer. Copying a link does not upload the original video file. Check the social platform’s current format and size requirements. Review cropping, subtitles where needed, and whether the customer agreed to this use.  When visibility changes Making a testimonial private can stop its Socialjuice public link from displaying, but it does not remove images or videos you already uploaded elsewhere. Remove those separately if needed. Social platforms can cache a link preview; their preview may take time to refresh after a change.

Create useful groups Labels organize testimonials within a space. A few clear labels such as a product name or customer segment are easier to maintain than a different label for every response. A label does not publish a private testimonial.  Apply and use labels Open Labels in the sidebar and create or manage the labels you need. Open All testimonials, select a testimonial, and use its label controls to assign the relevant labels. Repeat for other responses that belong in the group. Open Website widgets and edit the widget you want to target. Select the relevant label filter where that widget supports it. Save and preview the widget. Check that the selected testimonials are public and not archived.  When a group looks empty Confirm you are editing the same space as the testimonial library. Check label spelling and assignments, the public switch, and any additional widget filters. Removing a label from a testimonial can remove it from a widget that depends on that label. Use separate spaces for separate brands or clients; labels are an organizational tool within a space and do not create separate team permissions. 

Group testimonials by product, campaign, or use case and use those groups in widgets.

Organize testimonials with labels

Choose the correct import route Open Import reviews in the sidebar. The available sources include platform-specific importers and options for manually adding text or uploading supported files. Import requirements differ by source: a business URL, a review URL, and a CSV file are not interchangeable.  Import and review Select the correct space before importing. Choose the source that matches where the original review is published. Follow the importer’s fields and instructions. For manual text, preserve the author’s original wording and provide accurate attribution. For CSV, use the field mapping and format requested in the dialog. Start the import and allow it to finish. Large sources can take longer than a single manual review. Do not submit the same job repeatedly while it is still running. Open All testimonials and check imported text, author details, source links, and duplicates. Decide which testimonials to make public before adding them to widgets.  If the import fails Confirm the source URL is public and belongs to the correct business. A platform can change its availability or require a different import route. Try the specific manual importer when appropriate, or contact support with the source and error message. Only import and republish content you have the right to use. Importing does not override the source platform’s terms or the reviewer’s rights.

Import reviews from other platforms

Create the widget Open Website widgets in the sidebar and choose the option to create a widget. Choose an available layout and customize its appearance. Select the testimonials, labels, or other filters offered by that layout. Check that the testimonials you want to display are public. Use the preview to review both written and video content. Save the widget. Open its embed options and copy the complete HTML snippet supplied for this widget.  Install on your website Paste the snippet into your website’s supported HTML or custom-code block. Keep its exact URLs, IDs, parameters, scripts, and initialization code. Do not replace them with an example from a guide. You can also choose your platform in Agent embed instructions and copy a platform-specific handoff for your coding agent. Review the page and placement before handing it over.  Check the rendered page Open the published or staging page on desktop and mobile. Check loading, video playback, height, and whether the widget shows the intended selection. Some editors do not run scripts in their editing canvas. If a widget is empty, first check public status and filters. If its bottom is cut off, check both the iframe height and any outer site-builder block. Use the troubleshooting guide for a full checklist.

Create and embed a website testimonial widget

Open and review the page Choose the correct space and open Wall of love in the sidebar. It opens the public page in a new tab. Check the testimonials shown. Use All testimonials to change public status or correct content and attribution where you have permission. Copy the public page address from the browser. Open it in a private window to confirm it works for a visitor who is not signed in. Link to the wall from your website, email, or social profile. If you use a custom domain, test the address after connecting it.  Choose a wall or a widget Use a Wall of Love when you want to share a complete destination page. Use Website widgets when testimonials should sit inside an existing page or use a particular layout and selection. Public visibility matters for both. Do not assume that adding a label makes a testimonial visible or that a private testimonial will appear on the wall.  If your wall is missing content Check the space and its public testimonials. If a custom-domain address fails but the default address works, troubleshoot DNS and SSL separately from testimonial visibility.

Share your Wall of Love

Design and export Open Social designer from the sidebar in the correct space. Choose a testimonial and an available layout. Review the wording, author attribution, and any image or video thumbnail used in the design. Adjust the brand treatment, background, and other controls available in the editor. Choose a size suited to where you will share the image. Preview the full composition, especially long quotes and author names. Export using the download control and open the file to check it. Upload the image through your social platform’s composer, add helpful alternative text where supported, and review the post before publishing.  Keep the testimonial authentic Use customer words in their original context. Do not add a rating, company, job title, or result the customer did not provide. Check consent for the intended publication and make sure small text is readable on a phone.  If your export looks different Wait for images and fonts to finish loading before exporting. Check whether a long quote needs a different layout or size. If an image fails to load, reselect it and try again; include the layout and browser in any support request.

Create a branded testimonial image

Before you change DNS You need permission to edit the space and access to the domain’s DNS provider. Custom domains depend on your plan. Choose a subdomain such as reviews.example.com; the dashboard expects a subdomain, not a full URL, path, or your main website address. Use a new subdomain to avoid replacing your live website or email records. The company where you bought the domain may differ from the company currently hosting its DNS. Make changes at the authoritative DNS provider.  Add the domain in Socialjuice Open Custom domain in the sidebar, or Workspace settings → Custom domain. Enter the complete subdomain, such as reviews.example.com, without https:// or a trailing path. Save the setting. Read the DNS records shown in the dashboard. The CNAME target is collect.socialjuice.io. Copy any additional TXT verification records exactly if they appear.  Add the CNAME at your DNS provider Create a record for the exact subdomain you entered in Socialjuice. Provider field names vary. A typical setup looks like this: Type: CNAME. Name or Host: reviews, if your provider automatically appends example.com. Use reviews.example.com only when your provider expects the full hostname. Avoid creating reviews.example.com.example.com. Target or Value: collect.socialjuice.io, without https:// or a path. Leave TTL on the provider’s default or automatic setting. If you use Cloudflare, set this record to DNS only. A proxied record can prevent the expected connection or certificate check. If another record already uses this exact hostname, resolve that conflict before adding a CNAME. Do not remove unrelated records, especially mail records.  Complete verification and SSL If Socialjuice shows TXT verification records, add their exact type, host, and value too. This can happen when the domain is associated with another Vercel account. Do not invent a TXT value or copy one from a screenshot. Return to the dashboard and choose Refresh. Waiting for TXT verification record means ownership verification is still needed. DNS not pointing to Socialjuice yet (no SSL) means the expected routing or certificate setup has not completed. Connected · SSL certificate active indicates the dashboard considers the connection ready. DNS changes need time to propagate. Once connected, open the HTTPS address and test the collection page and Wall of Love. Do not bypass a browser certificate warning.  Troubleshoot a domain that will not connect Check spelling, doubled domain suffixes, a wrong DNS provider, conflicting records, Cloudflare proxying, and any requested TXT verification. A CNAME must point to collect.socialjuice.io, not your app dashboard or the old help center. If it still fails, send support the hostname, record types, and displayed status. Do not share your DNS-provider password. Disconnecting the domain can break shared links and QR codes using that hostname; plan replacement links first. 

Use your own subdomain for collection pages and check DNS, verification, and SSL.

Connect a custom domain with CNAME

Separate DNS from page content First open your default Socialjuice public page. If it works there but not on the custom hostname, focus on DNS, verification, and SSL. If both open but a testimonial is absent, check visibility and widget filters instead.  Check the exact records Open Workspace settings → Custom domain and confirm the hostname saved for the correct space. At your authoritative DNS provider, check that this hostname has a CNAME targeting collect.socialjuice.io. A root-domain record does not configure a subdomain automatically. Check that the provider did not append your domain twice. Remove a conflict only after checking what the existing record serves. If you use Cloudflare, confirm DNS only for this record. Add the exact TXT records shown by Socialjuice if verification is requested. Return to Socialjuice and choose Refresh. Allow time for DNS caches and certificate provisioning before retrying.  Understand the status Waiting for TXT verification record points to ownership verification. DNS not pointing to Socialjuice yet (no SSL) points to DNS routing or SSL readiness. Connected · SSL certificate active means you can test the HTTPS public address. If the browser reports an invalid certificate, stop and check the hostname and dashboard status. Do not bypass the warning or send customers to an unsecured page.  Ask for help with useful details Send the hostname, your DNS provider, the record types and target, the status text, and approximately when you changed the records. Screenshots should exclude account credentials and unrelated private records. These details help distinguish a provider issue from a Socialjuice configuration issue. 

Work through missing DNS records, ownership verification, and certificate delays.

Troubleshoot DNS and SSL for a custom domain

Prepare a receiving endpoint Webhooks send information about new testimonials from supported creation routes to another service. You need a plan with webhooks, permission to edit the space, and a publicly reachable HTTPS receiver. Localhost, local hostnames, and private network addresses are not supported by the dashboard URL validation. For Zapier or Make, create a receiving webhook trigger first and copy its HTTPS URL. Do not connect a customer-facing automation until you have checked the real payload and authentication headers it will receive.  Save and test the connection Open Webhooks in the sidebar. It opens Workspace settings → Advanced. Enter the Webhook URL and choose Save webhook settings. Store the generated Signing secret securely on your receiving server. Never put it in browser code, screenshots, or public logs. Choose Send test event. The dashboard sends a signed webhook.test event. Check that the receiver returns a 2xx response. Inspect the request before mapping fields. A successful dashboard test verifies that signed test request; collection-form deliveries currently use a different format, described below.  Understand the two current delivery formats Dashboard test events use an HMAC-signed envelope with id, type, created, and data fields. Headers include Socialjuice-Event, Socialjuice-Delivery, Socialjuice-Timestamp, and Socialjuice-Signature. A signed creation event uses testimonial.created; the dashboard test uses webhook.test. The current collection service sends the configured secret in X-Webhook-Secret over HTTPS. It does not attach the HMAC headers or the signed envelope. Collection payloads can contain testimonial fields directly or inside a testimonial object, depending on the collection path. Inspect an actual request before mapping name, email, uuid, and testimonial content. Do not assume the dashboard test payload matches a real collection.  Authenticate and handle both formats For signed requests, verify HMAC SHA-256 over <timestamp>.<raw_request_body>, compare the digest in constant time, and reject stale timestamps. For collection requests, compare X-Webhook-Secret with the configured secret on your server. Reject a request that does not pass the authentication required for its format. The shared-secret format does not provide the timestamp and delivery-ID replay protection of signed events. Deduplicate collection requests with the testimonial uuid in the context of the correct space when available. For signed events, use Socialjuice-Delivery or the envelope id. Only pass the customer fields your downstream workflow needs.  Delivery limits and troubleshooting Return a 2xx response promptly. The signed dashboard sender makes up to three total attempts, with a 10-second timeout per attempt. The current collection sender makes a single request without that retry loop. Do not assume the signed sender’s retries apply to collection-form deliveries. If the receiving tool cannot validate the required header, put a verification step on your own server before triggering sensitive actions. A webhook indicates creation, not a new grant of consent to publish. Review public visibility and consent separately.  Rotate or disable the connection If the secret is exposed, use Rotate secret and update all receivers immediately. This changes the secret used by both delivery formats. To disable delivery, clear the Webhook URL and save. Keep the old secret out of public logs and screenshots.

Set up outgoing testimonial webhooks

Choose the correct verification method The current implementation has two delivery formats. Signed dashboard events include Socialjuice-Signature and Socialjuice-Timestamp. Collection-form requests use X-Webhook-Secret instead. Keep your space’s Signing secret only on the receiving server. If a signature header is present, require valid HMAC verification. Do not fall back to accepting an invalid signed request as a legacy request. If you support the collection format, require its exact shared-secret header. Reject missing authentication.  Verify a signed request Read the raw request body before JSON middleware changes it. The signature is HMAC SHA-256 of <timestamp>.<raw_request_body> with the Signing secret. Socialjuice-Signature contains t=<timestamp>,v1=<hex hmac>. Its timestamp must agree with Socialjuice-Timestamp. Use a constant-time digest comparison. Reject malformed headers and timestamps more than five minutes in the past or future. Keep your server clock synchronized. After verification, parse JSON and distinguish webhook.test from testimonial.created.  Node.js HMAC example This example verifies the signed format only. Treat webhook.test as a connection test, not a real testimonial. A test passing does not prove your collection payload mapping is correct.

Verify and handle incoming webhooks

The test works but real collection does not The dashboard sends a signed webhook.test envelope. The current collection service sends X-Webhook-Secret and a different body, without the HMAC headers. A receiver that only accepts the dashboard format will reject collection requests. Inspect the actual request headers and body in your receiver’s private request history. Configure the appropriate authentication and field mapping for each supported format. Collection fields may be at the top level or inside a testimonial object. Do not publish private customer fields while debugging.  No request reaches your receiver Check that the Webhook URL was saved in the correct space and that the owner’s plan includes webhooks. Use a public HTTPS endpoint that accepts POST. Check firewall rules, sign-in requirements, and the URL spelling. Choose Send test event and inspect the receiver history. A delivered request with a failed later workflow step is a different problem from no request arriving. Return a 2xx response promptly. The signed dashboard sender times out after 10 seconds and makes up to three total attempts. Collection requests do not currently use that same retry loop.  Authentication fails For signed events, verify the raw request bytes before parsing JSON, use HMAC SHA-256, check the current secret, and validate the timestamp. A rotated secret or incorrect server clock can break verification. For collection requests, validate X-Webhook-Secret against the current configured secret. Do not try to find Socialjuice-Signature on this format, and never disable authentication to get an automation working.  Repeated or missing work Deduplicate signed requests with Socialjuice-Delivery or the envelope id. Collection requests need a stable testimonial identifier, such as uuid, where available. Confirm that the automation is not running once for the connection test and again for a real submission. Neither delivery path is an unlimited queue or a guarantee of eventual delivery. After correcting the receiver, send another dashboard test and check the appropriate format separately. Imported reviews and other creation paths may not emit the same event; inspect the specific route rather than assuming universal coverage.  Ask for help with redacted evidence Send support the approximate time, affected space, delivery format, response status, and a redacted error message. Include a delivery ID for signed events if available. Never include the Signing secret, X-Webhook-Secret value, access tokens, or private customer contact details.

Troubleshoot webhook delivery

Before inviting someone Team access and seat limits depend on the space owner’s plan. Invite a colleague to the correct space and choose the least access they need. Different roles can see different editing controls; a missing button can be an access limitation rather than a browser problem.  Invite and check access Open Team members in the sidebar of the intended space. Use the invite control, enter your colleague’s email address, and choose an available role. Review the permissions shown in the dashboard before sending. Ask the colleague to follow the invitation and sign in using the invited address. Have them open the intended space and confirm the screens they need are available. Manage the invitation or membership in Team members if their access needs to change.  If an invitation does not work Check the email address, spam folder, and whether the person is signed into a different account. Confirm that the invitation belongs to the intended space and that there is room under the owner’s seat limit. A view-only role cannot make the same changes as an editor or owner. Do not share the owner’s login to bypass role restrictions; adjust membership through the team controls.

Invite and manage team members

Deletion is permanent Deleting a space also deletes its testimonials. This is not the same as making testimonials private or switching to another space. Download any files you need and review the public forms, widgets, custom-domain links, and QR codes that depend on it before proceeding. If you only want to stop displaying a testimonial, use the Public switch instead. If you are unsure which space owns an embed, check its dashboard configuration first.  Delete the correct space Open the space you intend to delete and confirm its name and public address. Open Workspace settings → Advanced. Scroll to Danger zone. Read the warning next to Delete this space. Only continue if you intend to remove this space and all its testimonials. Use Delete this space and complete the dashboard confirmations. If the action is unavailable, ask the space owner to review your permissions.  After deletion Check your own website for embeds and links that point to the deleted space. Remove or replace them. Printed QR codes and messages sent earlier cannot be automatically updated by deleting a space. Deleting a space is not a billing-cancellation step. Manage subscriptions and billing separately through Account settings.

Delete a space safely

Open account settings Open Account & help in the dashboard sidebar and choose Account settings. You can also open account settings from Spaces. Review the subscription and billing controls shown for your account. The space owner’s plan determines many workspace feature limits. Use the available billing-management link for invoices, payment details, or subscription changes. Read the displayed amount and effective date before confirming a change.  When a feature is locked A locked control may reflect the owner’s plan or your team role. Check that you opened the correct account and space before changing a subscription. Feature availability can differ between current subscriptions and lifetime or legacy purchases. For an AppSumo or other lifetime purchase, contact support with the account email and relevant purchase reference if the entitlement is missing. Do not send a password or full card details.  Keep billing and deletion separate Removing a widget, making a testimonial private, or deleting a space does not by itself confirm a subscription cancellation. Use the billing controls and check the resulting status and date. If the displayed plan does not match your purchase, contact support before purchasing again.

Verification is reviewed by the team The old help center described requesting a blue verified badge by email. Do not assume that it is automatically included with a plan or enabled through a dashboard switch. Contact the Socialjuice team to confirm current availability and requirements for your space.  Prepare your request Copy your public collection-page address and identify the space you manage. Contact support from a company email address associated with the business when possible. Explain that you are asking about space verification. Provide the business name and public website so the team can understand the request. Never include passwords, access tokens, or DNS-provider credentials. Wait for the team to confirm the current process. Do not advertise a badge as approved before you receive confirmation.  What a badge does not replace Verification is separate from reviewing testimonial authenticity, customer consent, account email confirmation, and connecting a custom domain. Continue checking the content you publish regardless of whether your space displays a badge.

Get help with a problem Email support@socialjuice.io with a short description of what you were trying to do, what happened, and what you expected. Include the space name or public URL, the affected page, and the exact error message where possible. For a browser issue, include the browser, device, and approximate time. A screenshot or short recording can help, but hide passwords, Signing secrets, payment details, access tokens, and private customer information first.  Make a useful bug report Check that you are in the correct space and have saved your changes. Try the affected public page in a private browser window to distinguish a visitor issue from a dashboard-only issue. Record the smallest sequence of actions that reproduces the problem. Explain whether it happens for one testimonial, one widget, or the whole space. Send the report to support. For a domain or webhook problem, include the status or delivery ID described in those guides.  Suggest an improvement Browse the Socialjuice roadmap to see current ideas and completed updates. Email the team to explain a new request, who it helps, and the task you are trying to complete. The roadmap is a view of product direction; it is not a promise of a specific release date. A focused service-business page Use a recognizable logo, a short invitation, and two or three prompts that help customers describe their actual experience. For example, ask what they needed help with, how the service worked, and what changed afterward. Keep personal-information fields limited to what you need.  A product-feedback page Give customers enough context to identify the product they used. Ask about their experience in their own words, and keep any request for publication clear. Use labels in the testimonial library to organize responses by product or campaign.  Build and check your version Open Collection forms and edit the testimonial form. Preview on desktop and mobile. Make sure a long brand name, translated question, or logo does not hide the main action. The preview in your current dashboard reflects your current settings and is the best place to check your own composition. Use the live product demo on the website for broader product examples.

Build the component Place the iframe in a component at the intended location. Convert HTML attributes to React equivalents, such as className and allowFullScreen. Give the iframe a descriptive title. Keep browser-only initialization on the client. In Next.js, follow your project’s client-component and Script conventions. If the supplied snippet uses a resize helper, load that external script once. Initialize only after both the helper and target iframe exist. Clean up resize handlers when the component unmounts and avoid duplicate IDs or initialization when navigating between routes. Keep the frame responsive inside its parent. For a collection form, preserve the supplied camera and microphone permissions and use HTTPS.  Verify navigation and mobile Test the initial page load and navigation away and back. Check that the iframe is not initialized twice and that the page does not scroll horizontally. A collection form should also have a normal open-in-new-tab link for browsers that block embedded recording. Use Agent embed instructions in the dashboard and choose React / Next.js for a handoff containing the exact snippet. Do not install structured-data scripts inside the iframe; those belong to the host page.

Add Socialjuice to React or Next.js

The widget loads but shows no testimonials Open the correct space and confirm the testimonial is Public and not archived. Open the widget settings and review its selection, labels, and other filters. Public status alone does not override a restrictive filter. Save your widget and confirm the page uses that widget’s current code. Check for an old snippet or a different space ID.  Nothing appears or the code is visible as text Use an HTML or embed block that executes markup, not a text or code-display block. Reopen the saved block and confirm the platform kept the iframe and script tags. Some plans or editor roles remove custom code. Open the actual staging or published page: editing canvases often do not execute scripts. Check content blockers and your site’s content-security policy if the frame or script is blocked.  The bottom is cropped on mobile Check the iframe height and its containing section. Wix, Notion, and other platforms can add an outer iframe or block with its own height. Increasing only the inner frame may not change that outer box. Preserve the dashboard’s resize helper if supplied and supported. Load it once and initialize the intended iframe only after it exists. Notion cannot execute this helper, so resize its block manually.  Video recording does not start A collection form needs HTTPS and browser permission for the camera and microphone. Keep the embed’s permissions intact and check restrictions from any enclosing iframe or Permissions-Policy header. A testimonial display widget does not need recording permissions. Open the collection form directly in a new tab. If recording works there, investigate your host page’s embed restrictions and offer that direct link as a fallback.  Still stuck Contact support with the affected public page URL, your website platform, browser and device, and a screenshot of the issue. Redact private customer data and secrets. Mention whether the embed works in preview, on the published page, or neither.

Troubleshoot an empty or cropped embed

Check how you sign in The email-change form is available for accounts created with email and password. If you signed up with Google, Account settings explains that your email address is managed by your Google account. Do not create a second Socialjuice account to try to move your existing spaces.  Update an email-and-password account Open Account & help in the sidebar and choose Account settings. You can also open Account settings from Spaces. Find Email address in the account section. Check the address shown next to You sign in with. Enter that exact address under Current email address, then enter a different address under New email address. Use an inbox you control and check the spelling. Choose Change email and wait for the success or error message. Follow any confirmation instructions shown, and verify that the account displays the intended address. Keep your current session open until you have checked that you can sign in with the new address. Do not share your password or confirmation links.  If the change fails Current email address is incorrect means the old address does not match the signed-in account. Email addresses are the same means no change was entered. Invalid email address means the new address is not in the expected format. If the new address already belongs to another account, or team access or a lifetime purchase no longer looks correct, contact support before creating another account or buying again. Include the affected account addresses privately, without passwords or access tokens.

It is separate from the larger logo on your collection page and from the social sharing image shown when you paste a link into a message. Use a simple, high-contrast square mark that remains recognizable at a small size.  Upload it in workspace SEO settings Open the correct space, then Workspace settings → SEO. Find Favicon and choose Upload. The file picker accepts PNG, GIF, and JPEG images. Use a small square brand icon rather than a wide wordmark. Wait for the upload to complete and check the Favicon updated message and the dashboard preview. Open the public collection page in a new tab and check its browser-tab icon. Also check your custom-domain address if you use one.  If the old icon is still visible Browsers can cache favicons separately from page content. Open a private window or a new browser session before assuming the upload failed. Confirm that you edited the correct space and that you are viewing its public page, rather than the Socialjuice dashboard. If an upload fails, try one of the supported image formats and a simpler file. Changing the favicon does not change the page logo or the link-preview image; those have separate controls.

Choose the billing interval you need The pricing page offers Monthly and Yearly subscription intervals. Choose Monthly if you want monthly billing. A yearly price displayed as an amount per month is still an annual commitment billed according to the yearly checkout summary. Lifetime purchases are a separate purchase type.  Review before subscribing Open the current pricing page and select Monthly. Choose the plan with the features and limits you need. Read the checkout summary, including the billing interval, trial terms if offered, currency, taxes, and renewal amount. Do not infer the charge from a per-month comparison alone. After subscribing, open Account settings and review the subscription status and billing-management controls. Save the billing confirmation for your records.  If you only want one billing month Monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless renewal is cancelled through the billing controls. If you only need one month, use the subscription-management options and check the confirmation, effective date, and remaining access shown there. Do not assume that deleting a space or removing a widget cancels renewal. Cancellation, access, refunds, and changes to an existing annual or lifetime purchase depend on the terms and dates shown for that purchase. If the billing screen is unclear, ask support before confirming a change or purchasing a second subscription.

Start with the correct testimonial Open All testimonials in the space that owns the carousel widget. Open the response, review its content and consent, and enable Public if you want to display it. Check that it is not archived. If your carousel uses labels to choose its content, assign the matching label to the testimonial. A label alone does not make a private testimonial public.  Review the widget selection Open Website widgets and edit the saved carousel widget. The older help center called this Embed carousel; the current sidebar groups it under Website widgets. Review the selection and filtering controls available for that layout. Include the testimonial or its matching label, and check whether a text-only or video-only filter excludes it. Save and inspect the widget preview. If the layout rotates through several testimonials, allow the carousel to move or use its navigation to check the new item. Open the actual website page and verify the embedded carousel. If you created a different widget, install its own embed code; another widget’s code will not display this selection.  If it is still missing Check the space, public status, archived status, labels, content-type filters, and the widget ID used by your website. A response appearing in All testimonials does not guarantee it is included in every saved widget. If the preview works but the published page does not, use the embed troubleshooting guide to check code, scripts, and container sizing. Do not repeatedly import or submit the same testimonial to make it appear. 

Publish the response and make sure it matches the carousel’s selection and filters.
